The negative certificate is an official document issued by OMPIC (Moroccan Office of Industrial and Commercial Property). It certifies that the trade name or company name you wish to use is not already registered in Morocco.

This document is mandatory to form any type of company in Morocco (LLC, Corporation, SAS, Real Estate Company...) and must be obtained before registration with the Commercial Register.
